Moto-X Athlete Development or “M.A.D” as we are more commonly known was Founded in 2010 by Joe Stevens, Sports Performance and Fitness Australia accredited Personal Trainer. In only a few short years the M.A.D gym program has emerged as one of the premier and most reputable training programs in the Australian Motocross community.
With 20 plus years racing a Dirtbike, competing professionally at Mx Nationals, British & European MX/SX Championships and a few years on tour in the USA travelling on the IFMA Ramp to Ramp Freestyle MX tour; Joe has a deep understanding of the stress and demands the sport puts on an athlete’s body.
Joe has a wealth of experience in training Motocross Athletes on both sides of the fence. Having trained at Planet Fitness in Temecula California with the PT too many of the west coast Supercross riders, and as a part of the infamous Millsaps Training Facility Fitness program. Turning this experience into the M.A.D Training Program, we have taken our professional and Junior Athletes to the winners circle on many occasions at a National & international level.
Online Gym – Vision
The M.A.D gym program has been developed and tested by Motocross riders from its inception. Constantly evolving to keep pace with the progressing demands new generation Dirtbikes and racing put on the body. A structured program targeting Functional Strength, Core strength, Muscular Endurance, Cardio and Flexibility ensures our Athletes are ready on race day.
After travelling the country with M.A.D’s Professional and Junior racers it quickly became apparent the lack of information that is readily available to the Motocross community in regards to proper training, nutrition, program and injury management for aspiring racers. As a regional sport in one of the largest countries in the world we have been flooded with Emails and phone calls for Riders looking to get access to our program, but who live too far away to train with us in house at the M.A.D Sports Performance Training Centre. That has lead us to here to the creation of the Online Gym.
This membership based service will allow you access to the same programs all of our Athletes use in house with our Trainers. Furthermore the weekly planner schedule included takes the guess work and stress out of managing your own training program. We handle your routine, rest and recovery schedule so you can focus on what is important! Racing and winning! Joe and all of the M.A.D Sports Performance Trainers are incredibly passionate about Motocross and would love to work with each rider on a personal basis, however logistically that is not always possible.
The Online service is the most efficient way to manage our riders who live in different states and regions, who want access to one of the most reputable Training programs in the sport today.
